"Afternoon tour to Discovery Point - we had Chloe as our guide. Good material, excellent guide - we had fantastic weather as well, but this was a fun activity wth a very good tour guide. Easy going, but looking out for our safety and making sure we all had a good time. I went on my own, so shared the kayak with Chloe which was good fun. She shares a lot of information, but is also genuinely interested in the people in our tour. Will definitely come back for another trip next time I'm Seattle."

"We took the kayak tour through the Ballard Locks. It was really fun! The first time we went kayaking with Ballard Kayaks, we did the 2 hour Puget Sound trip. We had so much fun that we went out and bought our own kayaks! The prices are amazing for what you get. Don't delay.....go kayaking!"

"Really enjoyed our family trip with Ballard Kayak and the 2 hour tour. We had 3 generations paddling and all enjoyed it. We also were running late and Ballard kindly waited for us.
Kayaks were much better than other rentals places since they had rudders. We saw seals, bald eagles, and our guides Anna and Jay were entertaining and helpful."

"We took the sunset tour on The Sound. It was great! Upon arriving we were introduced to the staff and our guides. Everyone was very friendly. It was great for beginners. We were given a short tutorial on how to work the kayak and safety precautions. You would obviously expect some physical work but all and all it was relaxing and beautiful. A seal hopped onto the back of our kayak and hung out with us for several minutes. It was such a great experience. We will definitely do something like this through Ballard kayak again on our next trip to Seattle."

"We took our two daughters, ages 8 and 10 on the two hour sound tour and it was amazing! Not only was Blane knowledgeable, but he was also entertaining and we all had a blast. He had all the gear we needed to stay warm and dry on a rainy day. We saw bald eagles, blue herons, tons of curious seals, and lots of other wildlife. Definitely check this out!!!"

"I was fortunate to have a one to one guide on my recent trip. Chloe was a fantastic and interesting guide down the Puget Sound, through the lock and into Union Lake. Given I was the only guest they had and it could have been cancelled I was so pleased that Chloe still wanted to take me out to show me the beautiful waterways around Ballard Locks. This company and its staff are very professional and terrific. If I ever get back to Seattle I’ll be planning to get onto one of their trips. Best guided trip I’ve been on in the US."
